GuideArrive late but all was ready, directions to our site was easy to find. Campground was full, didn’t feel too much pressure from all the people. Site is level, didn’t have to do any leveling adjustments. Luck my site had a couple pine trees providing shade. It’s a pull through but not long enough to stay connected had to disconnect and park beside the camper.
ScoutA bucketload of spots available, with many having campfire rings! I cannot seeing this place filling up even during peak season.
GuideThere are sites dotted along this section of FR611. The road is a little bumpy but manageable. The view on the East Rim isn't as spectacular as North Rim at the visitor center, but it beats most places. There is plenty of room at 611W for a small group.
TravelerWithin walking distance of the Jacob Lake Inn (have to walk on the side of the highway but traffic is not bad). It is a beautiful spot, lots of flat level room under the trees. Two fire circles that I saw. You can hear traffic on the road but it is not loud. I do recommend it. IMO it is better than the campground just up a bit, sure there are no toilets but Jacob Lake campground has pit toilets so are you really giving up much? In return you get so much more room and privacy in a far more wooded setting.

Scout15 minutes from the Grand Canyon visitor center. Stayed here instead of dispersed camping very nearby because of rain. Was afraid the forest roads might get too muddy.
