GuideWe stayed at the resort in our 31’ RV after not finding a dispersed site. The RV park, located about 5 minutes outside of Gardiner, is next to the river and has decent grassy sites with picnic tables and fire rings. They have central septic and water for guests. The host was friendly and helpful, as well!
RV park visitors get $5 per person off the hot spring cost (hot springs are immediately next door). There are huge mineral spring pools including a cold pool, 100 degree pool and 106 degree pool surrounded by manicured lawns and lounge chairs. All around the property are incredible mountain views.
The facility, soaking pools, and grounds are beautiful and well worth the money!
LegendDefinitely stay here if you can get a reservation. We got a last minute reservation for 8 nights. We stayed in the newer loop with FHU. Sites are close and open but you are in the park. There are showers and a laundry as you come into campground. There is also a small grocery/gas station right outside the campground. Definitely be prepared with essentials, food, etc. because nothing is close.

LegendThis is in the middle of nowhere off 6 Mi of unpaved road, the last two of which are really not good. Claims this is at the base of the Beartooth mountains there at least three miles away. Host claims they would meet me and provide clear directions. They did not, GPS does not work out here, and I got lost while trying to find the place although eventually found it by chance. I tried calling the host twice for help in finding the location and got voicemail both times. Nice scenery but very far from anything and 40 minutes to Red Lodge. If I had known the road would be this bad I would have done dispersed camping closer to Red Lodge and taken a chance which I did here. The road was so bad even though I was doing five to seven miles an hour that it knocked the base off my jack, and knocked off one of my Snappads. Going to complain to hit camp and ask for my money back even though it wasn't that much because the host is not existent and non-communicative.

GuideAlthough my initial intention was to stay nearby at the dispersed M-K, there was a closed gate so I found this around the corner. I am not used to visiting paid campgrounds but this one was fantastic. Spacious and super clean. Views from several spots are outstanding. The trailhead to Greenough Lake hike was 100yds away. I stayed 2 nights and definitely will visit again. Zero cell phone coverage. Difficulty finding the hosts.

TravelerThe campground is clean and well-maintained with great views of Chico Peak and the Yellowstone River. Our campsite had great access for our son to throw rocks in the water. It got a bit windy (coming from the North) for a bit, but we it calmed down by night. There was also a bit of road noise, but that gradually slowed down at night, as well. Overall, would recommend this as a nice place to stay the night, especially if you're floating the river!
