Travelerdecided to spend our second night of our trip here after being chased out of N Kalob due to biting flies. we loved this site, super wide open area so all of your neighbors are visible but there’s ample space between each site. Everyone was very polite, we saw a few people dirt biking but it wasn’t obnoxious by any means. we showed up around 4PM and there was practically no one there but it started to fill in around 6PM-7PM. there is absolutely no shade out here so either come later or have a reliable cover bc the sun is unrelenting in the summer.
Travelersite is fairly easy to get to, we did a small river cross in our AWD car since there seemed to be more available spots. overall the campsite is nice with soft sand to sleep on and a small river to walk in and explore. this was one of the rare dispersed sites with tree shade which helped with intense summer heat. we came in early june and unfortunately didn’t know that it’s biting fly mating season and we were getting bitten CONSTANTLY and bug spray does little to deter them. it was so bad we decided to spend our second night in hurricane cliff’s because of it. additionally, 3 of the campsites we checked out had fire ant hills.
TravelerWe stayed here two nights and found it to be a perfect location for us. There were plenty of places to choose from, even when arriving after 6pm. Our spots were nice and flat and offered fire rings and amazing views. No bathrooms on site as noted, however, a rest area is a mile down the road and it’s clean and has running water. This campground is 7 miles from Bryce Canyon, so it was very easy to get to and from the park.
ScoutArrived at 10:30pm, no one was here. wasn’t sure exactly where to go but called my dad (there’s cell service and data here) and he helped guide me. i even ordered something online just fine.

GuideMy site was very nice; level wide for truck parking next to camper. Very crowded, 2 other campgrounds undergoing total renovations from ground up. So that’s put a lot pressure on remaining sites. Vista’s are awesome with the 2,000 mile drive from FLA
TravelerDave’s Hollow Designated Camping has quite a few sites but seems to fill up quickly since it’s just outside of Bryce Canyon NP. There are designated campsites (see attached map).
TravelerRoad into the campsite is very manageable. I took the first right after creating the hill. Nice views overlooking Bryce. Would definitely return.
