ScoutThis is our first ever camping/campground experience but I am so glad we came here for our first!!! The people are unbelievably helpful. We were greeted with open arms and they even helped us set up then checked on us again the next day. They have a 24/7 market with amazing goodies, everything we tried so far is amazing (special shoutout for the cinnamon rolls!!!) I have 3 kids they LOVE the zipline, they even have coffee 24/7! I brought my keurig but who knew I didn’t need to take up the counter space… if you’re comparing, book this one they literally thought of everything a big one is $15 for someone to come take your dog for a walk while you’re out. Also don’t miss Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, such an amazing place!!!
GuideVery easy and chill spot with a bit of tree cover. It already has a nicely made fire pit and shares a prairie of sorts with some cows. The cows stayed out of my way and got real quiet once the sun went down. Could probably fit 2-3 30ft vehicles here.
I was about 3-4 miles past the bulk of the campers in this area, so it was nice and secluded. Lots of other options to camp around here too!
There’s a lot of great areas for ATVs and off-roading around this area.

ScoutThis spot is elite! We scoped out early along Harris wash rd, too exposed for our liking. A little further along there is a very small tirn off that is an opinion but this spot is just a but further and easy better. We did end up driving to the very end of Harris wash but after this site, the rd gets rough. You'll want higher clearance and maybe 4wd. This spot is neat. You could fit a small group- maybe 3 families if you all really like each other. It felt like camping on Mars. The hills offered some shade in the evening but otherwise pretty exposed. Not too many folks came down the road this far so it was very peaceful. In other reviews you'll see people camping along red canyons. That's at the very end of Harris wash rd. Not here. Ground is fairly level. Little fire pit.
ScoutWe didn't end up camping at this site, it's right as you turn off hole- in- the-rock rd onto Harris wash rd., but I wanted to update this app a bit for others. This first area is a little larger. It's fairly exposed. You could fit a group, i'd say. Doable for vehicles that don't go off-roading (like you'll want further down the rd.). This is NOT the site in other reviewers' photos with red rock wall background, that's at the very end of harris wash rd. After the turn off to Little Valley Rd the road gets tougher.

ScoutThere are plenty of camps in this area. I pulled a 36ft bumper about three miles back into a shady secluded camp. T MOBILE service good ,and it's beautiful country. If you like primitive camping give this a try

Travelerthe area is absolutely beautiful but we drive a ford escape and couldn’t get very far on the road ad it was very eroded! lucky if you have a higher clearance vehicle and you’re able to stay here because we were sad we couldn’t :(
